TÜV SÜD Verifies Carbon Footprint of Jackery’s Solar and Portable Energy Products – An Industry First

Jackery, the world-renowned green outdoor energy provider, has announced that two of its solar panel products and seven of its portable power products have achieved carbon footprint verification from TÜV SÜD, an internationally recognised third-party certification organisation.

This marks the first time such verification has been achieved in the solar generator industry. The carbon footprint results have been certified to the international standard ISO 14067:2018, which defines the requirements necessary for organisations to qualify the carbon footprint of their products.

Jackery’s commitment to sustainable development has been further demonstrated with the certification of its products, which meet the growing demand for renewable energy sources across a variety of industries and sectors. The brand’s relationship with TÜV SÜD began in August 2022 and experts from the sustainability team of TÜV SÜD Product Service Division conducted the carbon footprint verification of Jackery’s products.

The successful verification has enabled Jackery to establish its products as a globally trusted green energy brand, making them more competitive in the international market and helping to achieve the goal of ‘carbon neutrality’. Jackery has so far sold over 3 million units globally since 2018 and has earned 363 global patents. The brand has also been honoured with 53 prestigious international design awards.

Nicola Cutler, Senior PR UK/Europe at Jackery, commented: “We are delighted to have achieved this important milestone. The verification from TÜV SÜD is testament to our commitment to sustainability and green energy, and our products are now better positioned to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the ‘carbon neutrality’ era from an international corporate perspective.”
