Virtual Reality Gaming Business meetspaceVR continues growth

Virtual reality gaming experience provider, meetspaceVR, is set to double the size of its business by the end of 2022.

The company is now also offering potential investors a chance to be part of its future plans.

A statement released by the company said that it is planning to expand to around 30 sites in the UK and they will also be investing in more state-of-the-art VR equipment. Part of this expansion will involve further investment, with the firm looking for between £500,000 and £1m in funds.

Both small and large investors are welcome, with the organization offering shares and exclusive experiences to both through crowdfunding site, Seedrs.

Founder and CEO John Lilley discussed the recent call for investment, stating: “By expanding our business, we are building a national brand that will offer customers the world’s greatest free-roam VR experiences all under one roof.”

At the moment, the organisation currently runs the UK’s largest free-roam augmented reality entertainment centres in London, Nottingham and Birmingham. They have also recently opened a location in Thatcham, with plans to open further venues in Manchester, Leeds and Bristol before the end of the year.

meetspaceVR opened its first site in Nottingham in 2018, with over 92,000 experiencing all it has to offer since.
