World’s Best Luxury Hotel Brands Announced

The world’s best luxury hotels have been announced, with Six Senses taking the top spot for the third successive year.

The luxury hotel has once again topped the list of LTI – Luxury Travel Intelligence’s best hotel brands.

Announcing the award, LTI cited Six Senses’ “authentic blend of wellness, sustainability, warm hospitality and crafted guest experiences” as the reason behind its success. Mandarin Oriental and Rosewood were deemed the second and third best luxury hotel brands of the year, with Auberge and Aman filling out the top five spots respectively.

When measuring the best hotel brands out there, these awards look at overall performance (not the performance of individual properties), the brands’ passion, commitment, ethos and values, as well as the quality of its management and staff.
To be considered for the award, a brand also has to have a minimum of ten properties.

The only new entry in the top 12 was Rocco Forte, who ranked at 11. They break into the top 12 spots on the year they celebrate 25 years operating in Europe.

LTI – Luxury Travel Intelligence is a global members-only organisation. They provide what they describe as “digital, up-to-the-minute reporting for affluent travellers who wish to make informed travel decisions”.
