Friends of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs to Host Pre-Christmas Event

The Friends of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs are inviting music and wood-turning enthusiasts to their Christmas Concert on Sunday 26th November at Ross Priory, Gartocharn.

The Rannoch Trio, who are all former members of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, will be performing a selection of classical and Christmas music. In addition, Maggie Irving, a talented wood turner from Rosneath, will be displaying some of her beautiful objects crafted from heritage wood.

A portion of Maggie’s proceeds will be donated to the Friends, so attendees can enjoy the music, mulled wine and a mince pie, while also supporting the restoration of Loch Lomond’s paddle steamer Maid of The Loch.

Tickets for the event are priced at £20 each and can be purchased from Mrs Jennifer Plunkett at info@lochlomondtrossachs.org.uk, by phoning Jennifer on 07496 433134, or online at www.lochlomondtrossachs.org.uk. Bookings must be made no later than Thursday 23rd November.

“It is a great opportunity to enjoy some lovely music and support the Maid of The Loch in a beautiful setting,” said Jennifer Plunkett.
