RVA Surveyors have been recognised for their hard work and achievements in delivering excellent service to clients, winning the IE100 Award for 2023 Business Rates Reduction Specialists (UK) from International Elite (IE).
The award was based on the merits and achievements of RVA Surveyors’ service and the company was nominated by a third-party. The IE100 Awards were established to honour the achievements of ability, across all areas of business and all winners will be listed in their Autumn/Winter magazine edition.
Managing Director at RVA Surveyor, Anthony Hughes, expressed his delight at winning the award: “It was incredible to find out that we had won this award based on the support provided to our clients. For the business community to recognise and acknowledge the work our team has delivered, and are continuing to deliver, is fantastic.”
Business rates is a tax on commercial properties, the commercial equivalent of council tax. The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) sets the rateable value (RV) for each commercial property at each new revaluation, which in turn determines the amount of business rates liability. RVA have continued to evolve to meet the varying demands that have arisen from the new rating list, which began in April 2023, with a host of interim support packages and short-term extensions to reliefs.
Owned and run by the Hughes family for nearly twelve years, RVA Surveyors have saved over £350 million for clients so far, with an impressive 85% success rate at the Check Challenge Appeal, and Audit process.
This is the latest award that RVA Surveyors have won over the past twelve months, having previously been recognised for their work in the fields of learning and development, business consultancy, business growth and family business.
