Haag-Streit UK (HS-UK), the leading manufacturer and distributor of gold-standard diagnostic and surgical devices and instruments for ophthalmologists, optometrists, and orthoptists, today announced the move of its UK headquarters from Harlow to Bishop’s Stortford.
The new location is 10 miles away from the previous Harlow office, which the company had occupied for more than 30 years. The new premises comprises two buildings that are close to road and rail links, just off the M11 motorway and a stone’s throw away from Stanstead airport.
The HS-UK headquarters includes an open-plan office able to accommodate the team and a dedicated Academy space. The logistics and service team will be located in a separate warehouse facility. The company was pleased to donate furniture from the old office building to local Harlow schools and charities, and new furniture was sustainably sourced. Both new facilities will benefit from solar energy and electric car charging spaces.
