FDM Group, a professional services provider with a focus on IT and Operations, has announced the creation of an official global partnership.
This is with Appian [Nasdaq: APPN], a leader in low-code.
FDM specialises in the creation of net new talent through their professionally accredited academy programmes. Appian demand is rising worldwide, and the partnership will enable them to support Appian’s customers and partners globally with certified talent.
As part of the partnership, Appian will provide resources and training for FDM consultants to become certified in Appian. FDM will then place newly qualified consultants in key roles within industry-leading businesses.
Appian is the unified platform for change. Appian accelerates businesses by discovering, designing, and automating their most important processes. The Appian Low-Code Platform combines the key capabilities needed to get work done faster, Process Mining + Workflow + Automation, in a unified low-code platform.
The programme kicked off this year and seeks to help meet the significant demand for Appian specialists from businesses across the world. FDM will work closely with said businesses to build a customised training curriculum so that each consultant is learning skills which are specific to the job role they will be picking up.
Andy Brown, Chief Commercial Officer from FDM Group, said, “Expertise in Appian services is one of the most in-demand skill sets across the world. This is due to the increasing demand for automated services, and bespoke app and tools development for businesses.
“With this new partnership, we hope to empower businesses with Appian capabilities, whilst simultaneously helping to plug the digital skills gap, by connecting our consultants with sophisticated training, and placing them in job roles in some of the most desirable industries and businesses.”
Marc Wilson, Chief Partner Officer from Appian, added, “Organisations know that they must become better at responding to and capitalising on change. Low-code delivers the speed and agility needed to optimise and automate workflows for improved efficiency and better customer experiences. We are proud to partner with FDM to bring the benefits of low-code to more businesses, and the benefits of a low-code career to more people.”
