According to this latest study, nearly 80% of the UK’s top earners attribute their professional achievements to their childhood pets. Jollyes’ findings highlight several key insights:

A significant 86% of top earners in the UK believe their childhood pet helped them appreciate life more.
About 78% of the highest earners in the UK felt that traits developed through interactions with their childhood pets, such as adaptability, played a role in their career success.
Over 75% of Senior Managers and 70% of Directors in the UK credited their conversational abilities to having a pet during childhood.
73% of top earners acknowledged that childhood pets strengthened their familial bonds.
An impressive 84% of senior professionals and 75% of Directors reported that experiences with loss and difficulties involving their childhood pets bolstered their resilience, aiding them in overcoming career challenges.
68% of the top earners agreed that having a pet as a child influenced their work attitude positively.

This study sheds light on the profound impact that pets can have on one’s life trajectory, redefining the saying ‘Dogs are for life, not just for Christmas.’
