Jo Boateng, the founder, embarked on this venture in 2012 after redundancy from Siemans Facility Management. Boateng’s resilience saw him through two years of study at Kings College, culminating in a Youth and Community Development degree. Starting with just a small vehicle, the company initially grappled with challenges in meeting the increasing demand due to limited resources. Client concerns over equipment led to a strategic shift towards delivering unparalleled service to avoid potential setbacks.
In response to these initial hurdles, Boateng invested £42,000 in a branded Ford Transit, significantly enhancing local brand recognition. Moreover, the company’s investment in staff training ensured maintenance of the highest service standards. With its in-house oven and carpet cleaners, Robocleaning Services Ltd established itself as a comprehensive, trustworthy cleaning industry solution.
The company’s strategic investments and dedication to service excellence have fostered notable growth. From initially servicing a single property daily, Robocleaning Services Ltd has expanded to three teams managing three properties each day. With a turnover of £250,000, the company looks forward to further growth, building on the solid foundation established since its establishment in 2008, and the initiation of tenant services in 2012.
