ebp Global, an international boutique management consultancy, has announced its acquisition of leading Danish sustainability consultancy Sustaina Company. The move comes as the need for sustainability expertise around the globe accelerates due to green legislation.
“Sustainability is a strategic business capability that major brands and corporations need to address”, says Michael Gamper, CEO of ebp Global. “Focusing only on operations excellence without including sustainability into core decision making processes will lead to both brand and financial risks.”
The acquisition provides Sustaina Company with access to new markets and customers, and will offer ebp Global’s clients greater guidance in export markets outside of the EU.
“I am super excited that we have joined forces with ebp Global”, says Anne Katrine Blirup, CEO of Sustaina Company. “It gives us the opportunity to scale the concept of Sustaina Company and be able to help even more companies also outside the borders of Denmark.”
Michael Gamper adds, “We are extremely proud to be able to bring Sustaina Company into the ebp Global family. They have built an excellent reputation in the field of sustainability, and by coupling this capability with the operations focus of ebp Global, we can provide a full service to clients around the globe addressing the challenges of tomorrow.”
ebp Global has acquired Sustaina Company in order to apply its sustainability expertise to value chain transformations and take sustainable practices to a global scale. Companies face increasing challenges concerning sustainability, and Sustaina Company’s experience and knowledge will be beneficial to ebp Global’s clients.
