The stars posed for pictures bearing the appeal slogan and met with young people supported by Teenage Cancer Trust, discussing the importance of age-appropriate care. The current healthcare crisis has resulted in longer cancer waiting times and delays in diagnosis, which can have long-term physical and mental health impacts on young people.
Charlotte Ritchie, who stars in shows such as Ghosts and You, said: “I think Teenage Cancer Trust is an unbelievable charity supporting so many young people going through not only being a teenager, but having to face cancer too.”
